Battery Safety Information

Warning: Lithium Ion Cells have inherent risks if misused or mishandled. Cells can explode causing harm or severe burns, fatality and property damage. Please read below the safety instructions on how to property charge, discharge and handle your lithium batteries, battery-packs from Midwest Battery, LLC.

ALWAYS charge, connect and operate the cells or battery-pack within their capabilities as listed on the manufacturer’s data sheet.

ALWAYS adhere to the manufacturer’s user manual.

This battery is manufactured and sold for the intended use of system integrations with proper protection circuitry for battery-packs with BMS (battery management system) or PCB (circuit board module). This battery-pack is neither designed nor intended to be used with an e-cig, or any similar device.

Charging Instructions: Always charge a lithium cell or battery-pack with a smart lithium charger that is designed for charging the correct voltage, chemistry and number of cells of the pack. DO NOT discharge a lithium cell or battery-pack before fully charging it. DO NOT charge a lithium cell or battery-pack with a none specific designated lithium smart charger. DO NOT cut off or remove the connector, heat shrink or disassemble the battery-pack for any reason. It will take 3-5 cycles (charge/discharge) to fully charge your lithium cell or battery-pack to reach its full capacity.

DO NOT disassemble, expose to heat above 85 degrees or incinerate it.

DO NOT expose the cells or battery-pack to extreme heat or flame.

DO NOT short circuit, over-charge or over-discharge the cells or battery-pack.

DO NOT subject the cells or battery-pack to strong mechanical shocks.

DO NOT immerse the cells or battery-pack in water or get it wet, unless instructed by MWB.

DO NOT reverse the polarity of the cells, battery-pack or cut the wire leads off for any reason.

DO NOT disassemble or modify the cells or battery-pack for any reason.

DO NOT handle or store the cells or battery-pack with metallic necklaces, coins or keys.

DO NOT connect the cells or battery-pack to a plus socket or car cigarette plug for charging.

DO NOT charge the cells or battery-pack with a none specific (1S – 20S) smart lithium charger.

DO NOT charge the cells or battery-pack with a bench top charger, a nickel charger, a car battery charger.

DO NOT charge the cells or battery-pack over 1 amp per hour.

DO NOT discharge the cells or battery-pack before fully charging.

DO NOT make a direct solder contact onto the cells or battery-pack.

DO NOT touch a leaked cell directly.

DO NOT use a lithium cell in mixture.

DO NOT use or leave cells or battery-pack under direct sunlight for long periods of time.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.

USAGE OF THIS BATTERY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
